 October 6, 2007   Michael Gerry Artist Choice Workshop

Participants will paint from a photograph of their choice provided by the instructor.  Tower
ArtWorks sponsors this workshop which is held at 2 Holly Road Sterling Ill. Michael Gerry is a renowned artist most known for his enlarged floral paintings. He is represented by Hilligoss Gallery in Chicago Illinois and Long Grove Illinois.

Seating is limited to 6

October 12, 2007  The Corner Gallery Artist Reception

The Corner Gallery will host a reception for the Featured Artist of the Month, Melissa Gascoigne. Melissa is an accomplished photographer who specializes in portraits and landscapes. Her work will be exhibited all month at the Corner Gallery.

October 19, 2007  The Next Picture Show Artist Reception

For the second year The Next Picture Show will be featuring the "Color Shots" color photography show. This juried show represents both professional and amateur photographers using either film or digital methods. The lower level of the gallery will be featuring Debbie Thompson's 5-6th graders (Reagan Middle School of Dixon) paintings they created with Jayne Rose, artist, during the guest artist program co-sponsored by the IL Art's Council and DPS Educational Foundation Grant.

The Corner Gallery will present a Composition Workshop instructed by Pat Yde from 9am-12pm Saturday Oct 20th.  Pat's workshop will feature both lecture and critique. Previous attendees have

 been very excited by the presentation.

Tower Art.Works presents another one day workshop at 2 Holly Road Sterling Illinois by Michael Gerry. Participants will paint from photographs, view a demonstration by Michael Gerry and have their work critiqued. Seating is limited to 6.
